Thank you — we have your message.

Someone from the firm will call you back, usually the same day. If you sent this in the evening or over a weekend, expect a call the next working morning.

If it’s urgent

If you have been served with court papers, if a foreclosure sale date has been set, or if your wages are already being garnished, please call rather than wait for us to call you. Those situations have deadlines.

CALL NOW

While you wait

Nothing is required of you before the call. If you would like to be prepared, these are the things we will probably ask about:

  • A rough total of what you owe, and to whom
  • Your household income before tax
  • Whether you are behind on a mortgage or car loan
  • Any court papers you have received

And two things worth reading in the meantime:

One thing worth saying now: if you are considering cashing out a retirement account to pay down debt, please wait until we have spoken. Retirement savings are protected in bankruptcy, and using them to pay creditors converts protected money into money creditors can reach.
